Skype

I'm glad she finally reinstalled Skype on her phone.  I was beginning to forget what she looked like!  Her smile reminded me of why I'm going through all this!

American invasion

My first reaction to news that the U.S.  is planning to build a military base in Darwin was... crap. This will increase the likelihood of terrorist attacks in Australia. I  wanted to learn from the inside how Australia was handling geopolitics in the region. I guess that now means "by inviting the American military. " Which does not seem very diplomatic towards the neighbors.  But then,  I've seen other evidence of bowing to American demands.

Meeting the relatives

Though I had met F's brother in Sydney, September was the big trip to Melbourne to meet her two sisters and their families.
